Mr. Rogers Story Time with Librarian Sharon (Saturday, March 12th)
The beloved Librarian Sharon is going to do a special story time at Los Altos United Methodist Church with a theme of Mr. Rogers! Join her and all your favorite land-of-make-believe characters at 9:30 am on March 12th
Also, Librarian Sharon is starting her own business, providing quality story times at local preschools. If you think that perhaps your child’s preschool would enjoy a regular visit from this amazing storyteller, please send her a note: sharon@storytimesharon.com
Run for Hope 2022 (March 19th and March 20th)
For every mile you run/walk/jog, Menlo Church will donate $25 to local first responders. Please sign up and join our team (the Super Hero Runners) below. No cost to you, you get to support a great cause, and you can run with us or on your own — bonus: you get a t-shirt!

Kid’s Live Theater (March 26 and 27)
The Palo Alto Children’s Playhouse has their next play on the weekend of March 26th and 27th. These simple plays are specially geared towards young kids and this month they are producing “The Ugly Duckling”
Library Virtual Craft Time for Grown-Ups (March 16th)
This is more for you, parent, than for your kids but it is super fun! Register on the 4th (as spaces go quickly), and pick up your craft kit when you get the “materials ready” email from the library. This month we are sewing clover ornaments.

Swim Lessons
Summer isn’t too far around the corner, and the YMCA has some great and very reasonably priced swim lessons. We’ll be doing a series in May and could love to have friends in the class — let me know if you are interested in joining and you should sign up now! They also have classes in March and April!

YMCA
Speaking of the YMCA, this is such a great resource! They have resumed Parents’ Night Out and much of the usual programming. Also, a great place to take Zumba ;).

Camp Signups
The MV Recreation department has already released their list of camps for this summer! Sign ups begin March 12th. I have heard that some of the favorite ones fill out quickly, so perhaps take a look at the list now to have the most options.

Mothers Together Mountain View (Thursdays)
This is amazing free Christian mom’s group that I attend (virtually) in the evening. They also have morning sessions (in-person and virtual). There is a speaker each week (bonus: I’ll be doing the Moment this week!), as well as prayer and fellowship! If this sounds like something you’d like to check out, email me and I’ll get you connected (their Facebook page is a bit out of date).
