Fireworks (Friday, July 4th)
Head over to Shoreline for some fireworks! Protip: We like to bike as the traffic can be epic.

Float the Russian River
We tried floating the Russian River recently, and it was VERY kid friendly. Grab an inflatable raft or tube and go with the flow. This page is great except it took us a couple of hours instead of 4-5 hours stated.

Gilroy Gardens
This amusement park/garden/nature center/playground is one of our favorites! The have a Cherry Jubilee festival coming up in June. Perhaps combine your trip to Gilroy with some cherry picking — we love Borello Family Farms for good cherries at convenient locations near the park.
