Summer Reading Program (all July)
Every year the MV library has an amazing summer reading program where kids (and adults!) are rewarded for their reading. The program started on June 1st and goes until the end of July. And on July 31st is the big finale concert with frozen treats!

Fourth of July tickets
Pick up your free Fourth of July fireworks and symphony tickets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. MV resident households get up to four free tickets. Or just enjoy the fireworks for free by sitting on the hills behind the amphitheater. Pro tip: bike on the Steven Creek trail if you can — the car traffic is pretty gnarly.

KidStock (Saturday July 15th)
The city of Mountain View puts on a few fun kids concerts each summer! The next one is Sean’s Music Factory.

Concerts on the Plaza (Fridays June 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th)
Another fun summer tradition, the city of Mountain View provides free live music on Friday afternoons throughout the summer.

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)
For just $1.50 you can get a ticket to weekday morning kids movies! See here for details and schedule.

LAUMC Children Programing

Los Altos United Methodist Church has a ton of great programming under the leadership of Ms. Sharon (formally of the Mountain View library). Check out their great offerings: storytimes, teddy bear picnics, puppets and more!

In case you didn’t know, the library isn’t just for concerts, science lessons, and books! You can also check out State Park parking passes and also get free seeds on the second floor seed library!
