SF Shakespeare in the Park is a wonderful family tradition! Grab a blanket and picnic and enjoy a delightful performance of Pericles, Prince of Tyre. We’ve never tried the SF location but the Redwood City location is wonderful!

Zumba Classes (Sunday afternoons)
As a new Zumba instructor, I would love to have some friends join me for my first classes. Starting on September 19th, I’ll be hosting some informal Sunday afternoon Zumba parties on the basketball courts area near Theuerkauf Elementary School to practice my teaching, get some exercise and have fun! Joanna Ho, author of Eyes That Kiss in the Corners and the upcoming book Playing at the Border: A Story of Yo-Yo Ma, will hold a conversation for “caregivers and educators about kids, self-acceptance, and anti-racism.”

Filoli Summer Evenings (Thursdays)
One of our favorite times to visit Filoli is on Thursday evenings. The garden stays open until 8 pm and there is usually music, a drink stand, and a food truck. Bring a picnic and enjoy the long summer evenings! Remember to make a reservation ahead of time. Email if you are interested in joining me — I have extra tickets! YMCA Kids Club Open
The El Camino YMCA kids club is now open! You can sign up for a slot (e.g., T/Th mornings or MWF mornings). The number of kids per slot is limited to ten and you keep the same cohort of kids for the duration of the session (a few weeks).
