Cherry Picking (Now… while cherries last!)
Noting says summer better than cherry picking!  Last week we did a couple trips to this orchard and had a blast!  Thanks, Beth, for the recommendation.

Local Farm Non-Profit (Tuesday afternoons)
Animal Assisted Happiness is a non-profit that specializes in animal therapy. Apparently on Tuesday afternoons they have an open house and you can interact with the animals (we’ll be checking it out for the first time this month).  No tickets or reservations are necessary.  Thank you, Tamara, for the tip!

Scavenger Hunt Downtown MV (Anytime)
The library has lost it’s beloved rat sculpture and needs your help solving the mystery of where it has gone and who took it!  Follow clues and solve puzzles with your kiddos to discover the truth.  I think this one better than the last library scavenger hunt — don’t miss it!  You can request your package of clues with your Grab n Go bag of books.

Library Hours Expanded
Grab and Go bags a now a thing of the past, but the good news is that the library is now open longer: Monday through Saturday, 12-6 pm

Free Flower and Veggie Seeds from the MV Library (Anytime)
One my neighbors recently reminded me of the library’s cool seed program.  You can pick up your packets when you grab your books.  Thanks, Karin!
