December Dance Parties (Tuesdays Dec 3rd and 10th)
Come get your boogie on with your babies and tots at the library!  These dance parties are always ton of fun! 10:30 am – 11 am.

Family Game Night at the Library (Thursday, Dec 5th)
The library has a great selection of kids games in children’s section.  You can borrow these games anytime to use in the library, but this coming Thursday they are hosting a special family game night (6:30-8:30 pm).  https://mountainview.libcal.com/event/5527022

Santa Letter Deadline (Friday, Dec 6th)
If you want to give Santa and his elves enough time to reply to your children’s holiday correspondences, please make sure your letter arrives by Dec 6th.  You can drop off your letter at the Mountain View Community Center Santa Mailbox or address it to City of Mountain View Recreation Division, c/o/ Santa Claus, P.O. box 7540, Mountain View, CA 94039.

Holiday Maker Space (Saturday, Dec 7th)
Head over to the library to create some homemade gifts!  They will provide the supplies for ornaments, cards, etc.  You bring the creativity!

Holiday Caltrain (Saturday, Dec 7th and Sunday, Dec 8th)
Come enjoy the Salvation Army’s band, a visit from your favorite winter characters, and a decked-out, lit-up Caltrain.  Also, this is a great opportunity to share with others — bring a new, unwrapped gift to donate to a local, underserved child.  The train will be visiting Mountain View at 7:25 pm, but arrive early if you want a good view!

Mountain View Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration (Monday, Dec 9th)
One of the best civic celebrations of the year, the Christmas tree lighting is so much fun!  There is always a snow zone (yes, real snow in Mountain View!), library storytimes, free cookies and hot chocolate, and, of course, a visit from Santa.

Fairy Tale Science at the Library (Thursday, Dec 12th)
The perfect blend of storytelling and STEM, these fun workshops are a sure hit!  This month’s installment is based on the story of the three billy goats gruff!

Sean’s Music Factory Holiday Singalong (Wednesday, Dec 18th)
